Wired to Govern is an easy read guide which will help charity trustees think about, and be responsive to, the digital future of the organisations they are charged with governing. It looks at the different areas which trustees need to consider: digital communications, potentials of digital services and data, and e-governance.

It is packed with helpful examples and resources to set trustees off on the right path. The guide highlights the opportunities which digital can bring, but is also clear about the threats (to reputation and security) that charity trustees cannot ignore.

Paula Duncan thinks:

I particularly like that the authors have reinterpreted the 6 principles of good governance (from the Good Governance Code) in the context of digitalisation. Digital ‘stuff’ is the tool, good governance needs to remain at the heart of all activities undertaken by the trustees. A must read for all charity trustees!
